Dark Horses for the Heisman in Week 9

Welcome back to last week I went W-12* L-5 if you give me the games I talked about with smelling some cheese but calling the Michigan game. But you should know the drill now at this point we just got to rip the band-aid off. UAB came into the weekend as a 23.5 favorite. Which if you ask me they still won the game. But I wasn’t the ref and UAB ended up taking the L. Which is an utter shame because they were sporting the Children’s Hospital uniforms which I completely forgot to mention last week. The killer for UAB was the 10 penalties for 108 yards. This week the Blazers -13 take on LA Tech. I look to see the Blazers bounce back and covering this weekend. And on the word of the refs thank you to the Iowa State refs for blessing me with the OK State cover with the call back tuddy

Just as each weeks slate there’s always some juicy games and this week I’ll start with the one I called the match up of the undefeated Michigans. Michigan -4 v Michigan State Give me the Wolverines I think this team is the real deal this year. The let down would have been against Northwestern because that’s what they do the best. Now we all know the best surrender cobra meme came from the blocked punt that put state over Michigan. The next game that catches my eye is the Texas v Baylor -2.5. Now I have said in blogs past that I think the winner of the Baylor and Ok State game. Which they now both sit at one L and Baylor believes. So give me the bears. The next would be the SMU v Houston which sits at even. These are the tops dogs that sit right behind Cincy and look to spoil their dance. SMU looks real pretty to do so but first they have to get through Houston. So give me the Pony Express because we all love a good story and some games that just mean a little bit more. The last game I’ll touch on before getting to the 2 minute drill. The Auburn-3 v Ole Miss. Auburn in Jordan-Hare wearing at least an Orange facemask. Now if only a man can get the Orange jerseys. I’ll keep hoping for them to make a them happen. But back to the game. I think the Tigers are hitting their stride this is the next level test that they have faced. I think this game is a battle of nutrition and with Auburn coming off the bye to get themselves a tad healthier. I expect them to pull it off and keep getting hotter.

Now time to get them rolling. Give me Cincy to bounce back-27, Iowa+3, Pitt-9, Iowa State -7.5, Georgia to keep rolling -14, Here’s where it gets tricky with Texas Tech with an interim Head Coach trying to cover +19 against Oklahoma. BUT I don’t see Oklahoma and Caleb Williams to have another freshman performance. To the next large spreads you know I’m squirrelly which is why I’m going to take Colorado to only cover +24.5, Wake-16.5, Kentucky -1, Kansas only to cover +30, Penn State +19.5, Notre Dame -3.5, Virginia +2.5, and I guess I have to keep riding with San Diego State +1.
