Scooby Wright Where Are You? Strict USFL Rule Preventing the Return of the SharkDawg
If you know Birmingham Stallions football, you know that Scooby Wright III is the heart of the team. Leader on defense and fan favorite, Scooby gained a local following during the 2022 USFL season after announcing to the nation that he is in fact a SharkDawg.

Scooby secured 2022 Championship with a game clinching interception and led the Stallions to a 11-1 championship season.
Fast forward to the 2023 USFL season. After week one, Scooby injured his calf and subsequently missed week two and three. He returned in week four but was injured yet again and was placed on Injury Reserve. In the USFL, Injured Reserve runs for five weeks. It is currently week 8 meaning Scooby will not be eligible to play until the last game of the season vs. Memphis on June 17th.
The rules are the rules but the SharkDawg himself has publicly stated that he is healthy and ready to play. A petition has been created and the SharkDawg Mafia wants him back 7 days early, for the June 11th game against divisional opponent, the Houston Gamblers.
Will the USFL to the “Wright” thing and let the face of the League return in week 9? Stallion’s Country hopes so.
Sign the Petition and share it with a friend. The SharkDawg must return. https://twitter.com/LukeMillerPFN/status/1664718895851118592?s=20
