208 tickets have been punched to the AHSAA Boy’s Basketball playoffs, as the first round of the area tournaments has concluded. In classes 1A-6A, 32 teams have locked up a spot in the sub-regional round, and 16 7A teams have clinched a trip to the Sweet 16. Here are the scores from the Birmingham area this week. The winner is in bold. Higher seed hosts area championship. Both teams in area championships go to sub-regional or regional (7A)
